Approximately 20 minutes from Nosy Be is the National Marine Park of Nosy Tanikely, a beautiful uninhabited paradise with the most wonderful white beach. A paradise for snorkelling and a favourite for biologists and underwater photography. The only inhabitants of the island are the famous flying bats or flying wolves and a lemurs family.

 

Nosy IRANJA (Turtle Island)

The most evocative island of the archipelago. Famous for being the home to sea turtles, who lay their eggs at the full moon. Here you can appreciate one nature phenomenon’s: sand banks. When the tide retreats a strip of land approx 2 kilometres long becomes visible linking the two islands, and it is possible to walk from one to the other. The smaller has a luxurious hotel and on the bigger there is a fishing village and a lighthouse.

Nosy KOMBA (Lemurs Island)

An attractive island at half road between Nosy Be and the Madagascar coast. A natural reserve that protect the Maki Macaco lemurs. Some are easy to be approached because are used to meet the tourists. At the village is possible to buy typical wood articles, hats and many other nice gifts.

 

Nosy VORONA-AMBARIOBE

A small island with a white sand beach, around one kilometre far from Nosy Komba. Very nice and relaxing to make the bath after the excursion on the lemurs island.

Nosy FANIHY

A beautiful desert island in front of the north coast of Nosy Be. Crystalline water and beach created by coral deposits.

Nosy MAMOKO

This is the island less frequented by tourists. For its calmness it's very nice. Two giant turtles from the Seychelles have made their home here, and contact with a family of mischievous lemurs is guaranteed.
